Tear strip envelopes are your regular envelopes with extra security and better handling. These envelopes have an envelope tear strip​ on the flap. You just have to pull off the tear strip from the pulling tab to open the envelope.
You do not need to tear off the whole envelope and ruin its aesthetics, nor do you need any tool to open the envelope. Also, this way, your product remains safe inside the envelope as it becomes tamper-proof packaging. You will know if someone tried to mess with the opening, and there is no way to reseal the envelope once it is opened.
